On Sunday, November 20, 2016, our worship service was informal and intergenerational. We marked the culmination of the church year and gave thanks to God for Advent, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost and Ordinary Time.
Six stations were located around the sanctuary, and people were invited to choose which season of the church year they wanted to be in. Each group then created their own acrostic, which is a word puzzle in which the first letter of a word is used to generate new words. [Note: the Pentecost Group did “Holy Spirit” instead of “Pentecost” for their acrostic. They went rogue.]
